Boise Art in The Park  No, that’s not a picture of a tea party.  We went down to Boise this afternoon for “Art In The Park”, the annual arts and crafts and festival food event that the Boise Art Museum does every September.  It’s a great end of the summer gathering in the park, under the trees, in one of the premier parks in the city next to the Boise River.  91 degrees, sunshine, a ton of people, and the usual collection of stuff.  Yes, there is some good art there, it’s not all hippie kitsch and garage sale crafts.  Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

We were looking for a tile artist we’ve bought things from in the past but she didn’t seem to be here this year.  We did find a watercolor artist from Oregon who had some very nice things at very nice prices.  He is an outdoor sports artist named Dean Crouser.   Very nice gentleman.  If you’re into hunting and fishing art, swing by his website and check him out.  Highly recommended.
