“Dear Janet, get a brain, back off on the knife ban.”
Well, they didn’t really write it quite that bluntly. But it’s good to see so many in Congress willing to speak out to halt unelected bureaucrats from imposing their own ban on 80 percent of the folding knife market. I would hope they are similarly motivated when it comes time to write an actual law when those at Customs don’t back down. They obviously haven’t thought it through though… can you imagine all the folks who currently carry pocketknives switching over to open carry Bowie knives? Oh my.

It gives you hope (forlorn though it may be) when that many members of Congress can see what is so obvious and are willing to say so. I note that my guy (Howard Coble) was a signer.
