It seems the White house is amused by the Tax Day Tea Parties.  I’d like to ask Obama The Pompous and his court jester Gibbs to please explain, and show me exactly where this is true

“The only thing I find amusing is that, as I said and the president said, the tax cut that covers the most people in the history of this country was proposed and signed by this president,” Gibbs said.

“[If] anybody involved would look at the facts, they would find that this president promised and this president delivered more money back into the pockets of hard-working Americans,” Gibbs added. “I’ll let the organizers of whatever these are speak to their motivations. I think we can be reasonably assured that the people outside the window are not making a quarter of a million dollars a year.”

Translation: We’ve given those cretins everything they need, everything they deserve.  Ungrateful bums, just ignore them.  We are.

The President is a liar, there are no tax cuts.  And what did the Idaho Democrats have to say about it all?  Just what you’d expect.

Idahoans agree that we must take aggressive action to get our country out of the current recession. Americans are frustrated that eight years of irresponsible policies pursued by the Bush administration have left the economy in a shambles with record deficits, record unemployment and record home foreclosures.

What a surprise! It’s all BUSH’S FAULT. For crying out loud Democrats, the election is over and your guy won. Bush is gone. And for a party whose President and Congress just passed the largest deficit spending program in the Nation’s history in their first two months in office, you folks oughta be a little bit quiet about pointing fingers and crying “deficits”. Just who do you think is going to pay for all that?  By the way Democrats, invoking the name of Walt Minnick in your press release is a nice touch, and you could learn a little something by looking at his votes on much of this budget and spending disaster… he doesn’t seem to be marching to the President’s tune.

In the short term, the vast majority of economists agree that some immediate public investment is critical to jump start the economy and get Americans back to work. Once our economy has recovered from this devastating downturn, President Obama is committed to reducing the deficit and returning to the balanced budgets that disappeared eight years ago. Idaho Democrats share that commitment to fiscal responsibility.

You people are liars too.  Obama is “committed to reducing the deficit and returning to fiscal responsibility”?  NO. He. Is. NOT.  Even the Congressional Budget Office will tell you that.  You can’t spend like this AND give tax cuts to 90% of the population.  The numbers don’t add up.  You can mock the tea partys and the protesters all you want, but beware.  The people who produce in this economy won’t roll over easy for THIS kind of wholesale recklessness.

Here in Nevada, we know exactly how the Obama Tax cuts work. It’s the $900 jackpot you hit on the slot machine you spent $2000 getting.
