Random Nuclear Strikes has a post on the Alameda California gun show ban case that was heard by the 9th Circuit this week. What with Holder looking like a sure thing and the ridiculous gun control bill introduced by Chicago Black Panther Representative Bobby Rush, Second Amendment supporters have had a little heartburn of late. It would be good to get a win out of the 9th Circuit, as it would be another step closer to incorporation of the 2nd.
How about a proposed bill on reciprocity of CWL’s between states? Would you like to see a National standard for reciprocal licensing? Look at H.R. 197
National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2009 - Amends the federal criminal code to establish a national standard for the carrying of concealed firearms (other than a machinegun or destructive device) by non-residents. Authorizes a person who has a valid permit to carry a concealed firearm in one state and who is not prohibited from carrying a firearm under federal law to carry a concealed firearm in another state in accordance with the restrictions of that state or as specified under this Act.
Let your Reps know here’s one they might want to look into. But then it’s right back to heartburn when you read about the beginnings of a move to make Barack Hussein Obama King for Life, H.J. Res. 5, to wit
Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.
A king! What Lincoln, FDR, and JFK weren’t able to pull off, the minions of The One are going to try again. By the way, God help us if they ever get a Constitutional Convention opened up. Just sayin’.
