The October version of Mr Completely’s  ePostal shooting match is up over at Traction Control.  “All Eye, No Lash” eh?  You’ll have to head over and read it to understand why he chose that name.  It looks like a great match though.

The interesting thing about this match is the addition of a distance multiplier and the provision for rifles!  Oh goodie, we can shoot everything in the safe if we want!

I listened to Joe Biden prattle on at Sarah Palin last night about evil oil companies, so-called windfall profits, and the definition of FAIRNESS in his neighborhood.  Note to Joe Biden and all his fellow donkeys who believe that way:

Using the full coercive force of the United States government to remove the profits of ANY American company in order to give it to someone else is robbery, plain and simple.  You’re a bloody crook!  I don’t give a rip about what you call fairness in your neighborhood, especially when that definition makes it ok for those who produce nothing to forcefully take it away from those who do produce it.  In the neighborhood I live in, we don’t send the cop up the street to the house with the Mercedes out front to take away the guy’s hard earned money, in order to give it to the guy down at the other end of the street with the beater Chev who hasn’t gotten off his ass and gone to work in 18 months.  That’s not noble Joe, and it most certainly isn’t fairness.

And the fact that you Democrats can blather on about FAIRNESS in the midst of what would be the biggest political scandal in American history if the news media could get their lips off of Obama’s posterior long enough to tell the story, well, that’s just about the most unfair thing I’ve ever seen.  Damn hypocrites.

America’s foundation is rooted in the idea that everyone has the opportunity to work hard and be as successful as they can be given their own talents, intelligence, hard work, circumstances, and yes, God’s blessing.  Go ahead, be as wildly successful as you want and can be.  Or not.  The idea of taking from the successful and giving to those who aren’t is not from the Constitution, nor is it from the Gospel, or the Torah.  It comes from Marx, and others of his ilk.  America is founded on the idea that we are a great and free people, and government exists to fascilitate us being great and free.  The idea that America is a great government and it exists to make the people equal is foreign to everything this country was founded on.  That is a lie from the pit of hell, and it is the fodder of monarchs, dictators, and despots.   We don’t have that idea in “my neighborhood” Joe.

American government exists to serve the people, the people do not exist to serve the government.  American companies exist to make money, profits.  They don’t exist to fund the government.  By the same token, government doesn’t exist to fund companies either.  The fact that so many folks get sent to Washington who are confused about those ideas is a damn disgrace.  And I’m being polite here, because quite frankly (pun intended) many of the folks who go to Washington are simply in it to enrich themselves, and the rest of us be damned for being stupid enough to be fooled by them.

Fairness in Joe Biden’s neighborhood might be “from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs”, but in my neighborhood that sounds like communism.  Death taxes, windfall profits taxes, universal healthcare, not to mention government scare talk and demands to take over a large part of the economy “because we’re the only ones who can save it”… that doesn’t sound like the America I read about in the Constitution.  Quit preaching about “fairness” Joe because the way you’re describing it doesn’t sound familiar to a lot of us who don’t call Washington D.C. “my neighborhood”.
