Because if we weren’t having glowball warming, it might be snowing down here in the valley, instead of just up in the mountains. Here are a couple of highway cam shots from this afternoon, one from Washington state, and one from Oregon. It’s also snowing at Brundage, a ski area about 2 hours north of us, but the system that is bringing this stuff hasn’t really gotten us here in SW Idaho. But today, instead of temps in the 80’s here, we’re struggling to hit 60 and there is a 30 mph “breeze” blowing.
Too bad B…S… isn’t an energy source, we’d have been independent a long time ago.

I’m looking at the rain clouds being blown in from the Northwest about to hit us at Mountain Home this evening. I really like this “Gorebull Warming” this year here it is almost the middle of June and the desert and Danskin Mountains are still lush and green. Its “Climate Change” we are all going to die! LOL! Have a good one BillH and try not to get stuck in the mud if you head out in the desert for some more target practice. That’s if you can afford the gas it sure is keeping us closer to home this summer.

High gas prices keep our minds off the high ammo prices, eh? John, I think you guys have a bit more rain than we have up here, but you’re right, the hills are green and gorgeous, esp for how late it is. My desert shooty spot is around 50 miles round trip… the truck gets about 17mpg, so figure 3 gallons, or $12. The indoor range costs $10, but it’s only 4 or so miles away, so figure $2 gas and $10 for the lane. Pretty close, but the desert still gets the prize. There just isn’t anything quite like laying out on that shooting mat in the sun, with a target 200 yards out in the sage… I love it!
DJK, you have any “odd” weather down there yet?

Hi There -
Thought you might be interested in posting a photo from Brundage Mountain - we got seven inches overnight, and the snow stake doesn’t lie : )
