They all look the same to me. That’s what I said after reading about the lard-fest of domestic spending they added to the war funding bill they passed today. BOTH sides of the aisle joined in. And I thought that squeeling noise was my birdfeeder swinging in the windstorm we’re having… nope, it was our two Idaho senators joining in and voting with the Dems to let this “special arrangement” get through.
Fund the war. It should be your first priority because our kids are over there working hard, and some are dying, for all of us. Then work on all the domestic spending bills you want. Let them all pass or fail on their own merits. And don’t tell me that isn’t the way things get done. I KNOW that. That’s what’s wrong.
By the way, John McCain missed this vote too.
