Well, THIS is certainly a depressing example of twisting and squirming and wriggling out of saying what you know to be true. “THIS” being Mike Huckabee doing a Hillary imitation when asked whether Mormonism is a legitimate form of Christianity.
Gov. Huckabee: “Once again, I am not going to try to judge. That is for them to determine whether they accept Jesus Christ as the only revelation of God on Earth. And, if they do, then that is how a person is a Christian, not by the label they wear, but by the position they take on the role and the personhood of Christ.”
THAT is awful… so much for straight talk. And yes, I know that the Presidency has absolutely nothing to do with the answer to the question of Mormonism and Christianity. But his answer reeks of “this is a gotcha question and you’re trying to make me look mean, so I’m gonna dance around and try not to hurt any feelings”, and he ends up sounding like a politician.

I only wish the libs and the MSM’ers got the same kick out of going after their own for their twisting and turning…
