I live a sheltered life, I guess.  Who would ever have suspected this?

Ramadan Adassi, leader of the Al Aqsa Brigades in the Anskar refugee camp in the northern West Bank, said he, too, backs Hillary and hopes she will continue the “legacy of her husband” regarding support for a Palestinian state.

President Clinton was “pro-Israel but [he] understood that the Palestinians must live in their independent state like the other nations of the world,” stated Adassi.

But the terror leader commented he was “worried” if Hillary “defied Israel” she would be “brought down like her husband,” claiming White House intern Monica Lewinsky really was an Israeli Mossad implant sent to destroy President Clinton’s career after he pressured the Jewish state to evacuate territory to the Palestinians.

“If Hillary goes too much against the Zionist interests, she will face the same conspiracy like her husband who fell into the trap of Lewinsky. I have no doubt [Lewinsky] was planted by the Zionists, who wanted to send a message to all future American presidents – do not go against the Israeli policy. Bill Clinton made the Oslo agreement and promoted peace but the Israelis did not give him a chance,” Adassi said.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve known all about how all the terrorists want Hillary to be the next U.S. President.  Anybody can figure that one out.  I know it makes them angry when you say that (bonus points) but it’s true.  But Monica?  Sweet little Monica?  A deep throat undercover Mossad agent?  Wow.  Who knew?  Next thing you know, we’ll find out Princess Di was killed by some huge Royal plot to keep Muslim babies away from the British throne…

Last week, a London court began pondering the vexed question of whether Diana, Princess of Wales, was, ahem, murdered. There was so much public suspicion, declared the coroner, Lord Justice Scott Baker, that it was time for the rumors to be either “dispelled or substantiated.”

So who killed her? On the night of Diana’s death in 1997, there were apparently two top agents for MI6, the British secret service, on the loose in Paris, and possibly a third, if you believe that Henri Paul, the chauffeur, was also on the spooks’ payroll.

That’s the theory of Mohammed Fayed, Monsieur Paul’s employer and father of the princess’s last boyfriend, Dodi. Fayed asserts that Diana was at the time of her death carrying Dodi’s baby, and thus the car crash was arranged because Buckingham Palace decided it would be unacceptable for Prince William, the future king, to have a Muslim stepbrother, a Muslim step-dad, and a soon-to-be-Muslim mom.

Is it just me, or do the rest of you find this level of paranoia just a little creepy?  Funny, but creepy.

I mentioned in an earlier post that atheists are making a concerted effort this year to get more exposure for themselves and their beliefs.  In keeping with that, there is the headline on CNSNews.com this morning  Air America Launches Nationwide Atheism Program.  I’ll bet that’s compelling listening.

The liberal talk radio network Air America announced this week it will launch a nationwide show focusing on atheism. The first national show will feature Christopher Hitchens, author of “God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything.”

What can you say about atheism, to fill up an hour of airtime every week?  Perhaps a six-part series exploring the atheistic beliefs fundamental to Marxism?  How about a deep philosophical discussion concerning the foundations of morality in a system that believes everything started randomly from nothing?  Seriously, after you say “there is no God, but I can’t prove it”, what else is there to say?  So this must be Dr Laura for non-believers?

“You can turn on the radio or TV 24/7 to be preached at,” Annie Laurie Gaylor, co-president of the FFRF, said in a statement. “This is one hour a week of the public airwaves that offers an alternative.”

Gaylor said the program “offers irreverent views, news, music and interviews,” including a regular news feature called “Theocracy Alert.”

FFRF stands for Freedom From Religion Foundation.  That would definitely be an outfit that would produce a regular news feature called “Theocracy Alert”.  Would anyone care to wager that the only “theocracy alerts” will concern the doings of Christians?  Christmas trees in airports, Bible study groups using school classrooms, Boy Scouts, Thanksgiving, oh goodness, maybe they need two hours a week?  Nah, probably not, because they won’t mention Muslim footbaths at public colleges and airports, the Ramadan proclamation from the Congress, or Bush’s Iftaar dinner celebrating Ramadan.

Let’s see, the highly successful Air America, combined with the popular and widespread faith of atheism.  Should be another winner.  Right.

By the way, Michele over at Reformed Chicks Blabbing has been posting about atheism lately.  Good reading (she’s more into that subject than I am).
